How long does the iSpot battery last?

The iSpot battery comes partially charged so you can start using iSpot right away. Once the battery is fully charged, it will provide about 4 hours of operation under continuous use.

This time will vary based on operating conditions such as WiMAX signal strength, the number of connected Wi-fi devices, and Wi-Fi Transmit power level. Log into your iSpot’s Device Home Page to change the device settings for these conditions, which help prolong the battery’s runtime.

The iSpot battery can be used while it is being charged.

Here are some tips to extend the iSpot's battery life.

Manually power off your iSpot or use the iSpot App or Home Page to configure your it to automatically enter standby mode.

Use the iSpot App or Home Page to decrease the Wi-Fi Network Range:

Click on: Basic then, Wireless (Wi-Fi) then Wi-Fi Network Range then ‘Short').
Use the iSpot App or Home Page to limit the number of Wi-Fi users
Click on Basic then, Wireless (Wi-Fi), then Wi-Fi Max Clients.
